   Beautiful restaurant and excellent service. Our only complaints were that the steak, which the server raved about and said it was the best thing on the menu, was well seasoned but not tender and actually a little tough. For the prices we paid we expected it to be very tender. The only other thing we disliked  was they served a delicious house-made sourdough bread but the “smokey butter” they served with it tasted like charcoal. No one at the table liked it.  The octopus appetizer was a little tough, I would not order that again. Our favorite thing was the french fries, best we ever had.

   The Kitchen brings a unique ambiance in San Jose. Centered around its kitchen, the restaurant is beautiful and you can see the care that goes into your meal firsthand. The sourdough and beets appetizers were amazing, and we loved the steak and sea bass. We will be back!

   Danny was great as always! Will keep us coming back :) The sourdough gift at the end of our reservation was a very nice touch

   Excellent atmosphere, service and food!! It was our husbands birthdays and they brought a desert with candle to celebrate!! Highly recommend!

   This is our second visit to Kitchen (formerly Kitchen Table). We love the ambiance, food and friendly staff. Highlights are the fresh sourdough bread, heirloom tomatoes on yogurt and pork belly with plantains. All delicious. Good drinks. Tucked away from the street noise. Can't wait to go back.

   Our waiter Daniel was excellent, as was the general manager, a very gracious host. The chefs in the kitchen were amazing to watch, their timing for serving the meals were excellent. The food- fresh grilled sourdough with smoked butter, the grilled sea bass, the generous small portions- well worth the cost.

   Had the best time at Kitchen Table Sanjo! I took my boyfriend here for dinner and we both LOVED the food, drinks, and service. I don’t usually write reviews, but if you are in San Jose, you have to go to this place. The ambience was perfect, the staff were all so nice and you could tell they wanted to go out of the way in order to make your experience amazing. The food is all so fresh and prepared in front of you at the open kitchen. The bar tender was very knowledgeable about different types of alcohol and paired flavors. He made each of us drinks based off of what flavors we like and they were out of this world. 100% recommend this restaurant, and will be coming back the next time we visit Cabo.

    This is a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance & service. The bathroom is a total trip! The food was good but not great. Fish didn’t seem fresh. Everything felt like is was missing a little something or needed one less thing.
