    Waiter Recommended Margarita was small with a large ice cube in the middle. Not much to drink. Carne asada was tough and not as well seasoned as it should have been. Charging for salsa and Tortilla chips is pushing the limits especially when they weren’t that good.

    Outstanding in every way from the service to the incredible food! Flavors that are unique and especially tasty. Mexican food to the highest level of accomplishment from this special restaurant and kitchen. Highly recommend!

    I took my sister and brother in law here for birthday lunch. It was delicious, from cocktails to appetizers to main course. We were too full to try deserts but will try them next time. They looked tantalizing.

    The server and owner were lovely, making sure we enjoyed our initial experience at Kolucan. We will return. Thank you. I enjoyed the Vegan nachos.

    We've dined at Kolucan before, it's still the most authentic Mexican cusine in Sarasota. This time, it was outside so we could bring our dog. The outdoor dining is fine, though a little noisy from cars. Bur their version of a smoked mezcal Old Fashioned made me forget all that. Heavenly.
