On arrival, young chap led us to table but straightaway left us without any hint of enquiry as to whether the location actually suited us ... I really would have expected him to dwell for a moment or two and to have said something by way of a welcome. I noticed that several parties arriving after ourselves were treated in exactly the same offhand manner and so sharply focused compared with the welcoming warm manner of our table waiter "Craig" This really should be put right - it's not a difficult thing to achieve.

Nice decor, but the acoustics were bad and so made the noise travel around the whole place. Service was at best relaxed, but polite and offered with a smile. We had a mix of food, which was very nicely presented. No rush to finish or leave. Didn't quite get the sports bar at the front.....didn't sit well with the restaurant at the rear. Would definitely go again.

The only place where you can get a decent curry (my husband would like the madras a bit hotter) and good English good. Lots of curry houses, but their English food is rubbish.

On arrival our booking through your company had not been forwarded to the restaurant. However they went above and beyond the call and although the restaurant was very busy found us a table with the minimum of delay. At all times they were helpful pleasant and very accommodating. All aspects of our time there were excellent and we will be regular customers from now on. We will however book direct with them to assure our reservation.
