   We love it here and it’s super cozy on a chilly day! Not sure what happened today but four of us all had very mediocre lunches. My Cobb salad was just sad. Iceberg lettuce with hardly any toppings and a maple dressing that tasted like watered down Dijon mustard. Yuck. Everyone else had sandwiches that were more bread than meat. The wings were great and so was the beer. And our service was good too.

   We usually love Kroghs but please bring back the old nachos and old menu!!!! We’ve been coming to Kroghs for 40 plus years and we’re so disappointed to see the nachos, wing recipe and most of menu change.

   We haven't been to Kroghs in years, until this year, when we went 2x. In June, we loved it. We got a table in the main dining room that was somewhat cramped, but fine. We got strip steaks, which were on the specials menu, and they were excellent! This time, we went in September. Sadly, it was raining, so we couldn't try out the rooftop bar. We were first sat at a table in the middle of the room. There were 4 of us. It had two chairs and one bench type seat. The seat was cushioned, but it leaned back, making it very uncomfortable. Simply put, it was old and felt like you were sitting on an old couch that needed serious replacement! We asked to move to one of the booths which was empty. We were warned it would be a bit cramped for 4, which it was, but at least it was quieter. To talk to our friends, if we'd stayed at the table, we'd have been literally shouting all night. The specials menu was devoted to German food for the Oktoberfest, which I knew previously, and did not want, so we ordered from the main menu. I must say, I didn't realize the main menu was so limited. two beef choices, rib eye and short ribs, baby back ribs, one fish choice - salmon, I don't even remember if there were chicken choices. There were literally only like 5 or 6 choices for full dinners (not burgers, etc). My husband and I got the ribs and the rib eye, and shared. The ribs were good, but the biggest baby back ribs I'd ever seen! The ribeye was half unedible due to unchewable fat strewn throughout the whole thing.(Having said that, my friend also got the steak and he was pleased with his). My other friend said the salmon was good. But, salad and no bread before dinner either. I just wasn't impressed. I don't think we'll be going back - unless it's for the the rooftop bar and we just get burgers! My advice - replace all the old couch type seating! And expand the dinner menu.

    App came out fast. Food took very long to come out. Food was warm not hot. Value is average. Service was average. Overall it’s was an “ok” dinner experience. I come there for dinner about once a month.
