Kuon Omakase offers a truly unique dining experience, where you can entrust the chef to create a 20-course menu of the freshest sushi and sashimi. The menu changes daily depending on the season and produce available from the local fish market. You can expect dishes like osetra caviar with sea urchin and toro tartare, steamed abalone with abalone liver and sea urchin sauce, and Japanese egg custard with snow crab meat and netsuke monkfish liver. Matching wine and sakes can be added to complete the experience.

Based on the basic principles of "Fresh & Aged Eclectic" and "Fusion of East and West," aged sushi is served with sake. Contrast of light and shade with sushi made from fresh fish caught off the coast of Australia. The point is to simmer, steam, bake, finish with vinegar... *We are Omakase restaurant only serve chef's special menu. There are no a la carte options at Kuon Omakase.     Amazing experience. The chef was full of character and had lots of fun with the diners and explained the courses well. The service was great and the food was delicious. The wine pairing was a bit too much on the sweet side for my liking but was nice to taste a range of different sakes.

    a fantastic experience with some of the best and freshest seafood I've tried in my life (and I've had alot of seafood and Japanese food). Food was fresh and delicious, it is miles ahead of your typical sushi train. It was lovely conversing with the chef and learning about the produce.

    The meal was thoughtfully designed, skillfully prepared and delicious from start to finish. The sake pairing was also excellent and really enhanced the meal. A truly incredible dining experience.

    Service was amazing. However, food’s not bad. Hokkaido scallop was smell and herring roe was a bitter taste.

    My partner and I have never had omakase before and so we came in with pretty high expectations given the hype around the Kuon experience. Despite this, we were we still blown away but the quality of the meal as well as the experience as a whole. We loved the sake recommendations, the service from both staff and chef, and watching the chef prepare our meal in front of us. It was immersive, intimate and so so so yummy. Would love to return again!
