   We travelled to Edinburgh specifically to visit this restaurant. The ambience was lovely. Staff were all really attentive and offered suggestions. We were shown a visual of the various cuts of steak available and all explanations were clear and specific. We also got 5 options for which type of knives we would all prefer. One of the items on the menu I was really looking forward to was unfortunately sold out, bit disappointed that something would be sold out by 3pm on Saturday but there were other options. We had two nice cocktails and there is an extensive wine menu It’s not a cheap meal but it was delicious All three steaks were cooked to perfection and beautiful rested. They were also very large, I struggled to finish my fillet as it was such a generous size. We chose a variety of sides and they were all cooked beautifully

   Brilliant service, attentive and knowledgeable. The food itself was excellent, everything cooked perfectly and the sides were as much a star of the show as the steak itself. Perfect visit from start to finish!

   Fabulous food and atmosphere, second visit and was just as good as my first. First visit for my teen son and he loved it too!

   Basically it was great! Only problem is the steak becoming cold too quick maybe because the weather. Overall it was a great experience.

   Sunday lunch was superb; fabulous quality of Beef roasted specifically for our table. Lots of side dishes all served piping hot. Service throughout was excellent.

   Over priced. Over £40 for a decent cut of steak with no sides. Steaks were excessively fatty for for the price / standard that should be served at that price. The meat / sauce was very cold. There wasn’t any grill tastes. Over all bland and disappointed customers.

   Lovely decor and food outstanding. We had the chateaubriand and it was cooked to perfection and the sides were all delicious

    Food was excellent, service was excellent only thing was you only got 2hrs at table , was asked could we get table back in 15 mins , which meant drinks down quickly and pay bill !!
