With the exception of the initial greeting by the hostess we were pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the wait staff. The cuisine was very good with a varied choice of menu items and the ambience was perfect.

Parking is an issue. This is a “neighborhood” spot off of a busy Rl Camino Blvd in Millbrae. Food was ok not great. Very noisy and bustling if that’s your thing. Service was very good. Great pours of wine by the glass( equivalent of 2 normal glasses)

Wonderful late dinner. We had late reservations at 8:30pm and we were never rushed. Food and service were excellent

We took uber from SFO airport hotel to La Collina. Old World ambience, comfortable booths, good house Chianti, reasonable prices. The linguini with sausage and eggplant was delicious, and equally good the chicken and spinach ravioli. We started by splitting the Caesar salad, plenty for two, and finished with the tiramisu, perfect. Great diversion from airport hotel, just one and a half mile away.

I found (in my mouth) a long black hair in my Veal Marsala. I have short hair as well as my dining partner. I asked my server if he can make me another dish. He did. He told his manager/owner about the incident. I was expecting as a goodwill gesture to see my dish removed from the bill. Not at this restaurant. Probably won’t be coming back or, recommending
