   Outstanding experience all around. There was actually an inexplicable glitch with the Open Table reward I sought to use. The manager handled it gracefully and honored the reward even though it couldn’t be immediately sorted out with OT. He made sure the glitch didn’t become my, the guest’s, problem. That’s what a class restaurant does. Very much appreciated. Beyond that, great service and food. Killer cocktails. Highly recommend.

   Excellent night at LaConnessa. My sweetheart said the Tagliatelle Bolognese was every bit as flavorful and executed as what she experienced in Bologna on a recent trip. Appetizers, wine outstanding as well as the stunning decor. Look forward to a return trip soon.

   This is a beautiful restaurant. The location is very nice with parking (a plus in SF) around the neighborhood. The interior a cozy but with a modern flare. We started with the Focaccia di Recco which was more of a flat bread (think Matzah) with very light cheese and a hint of sea salt. We polished it off. For dinner we had Pollo al Mattone which was fantastic. The chicken was moist, the skin crispy and the Salmoriglio sauce was very tasty. The braised cippolini onions were soft, and mild but lightly sweet. The other dish was the Rib-eye Tagliata which was cooked to perfection (medium rare) with beef tallow potatoes that slightly crisp. The only disappointment was the Chocolate Budino for dessert. The hazelnut on the top was great but the budino itself was very hard (maybe it was straight from the fridge?) so it wasn't that good. The service was very good, attentive but not too much. We will definitely be back.

   Beautiful comfortable restaurant with outstanding food and warm, knowledgeable service. Loved the hard to find, delicious, organic chicken liver crostini.

   We had a friend’s birthday dinner here and it was the perfect place. Restaurant gave her a birthday card as she sat down and made her feel special all night. Food was fantastic- great pacing of service and friendly staff throughout. Will definitely come back here again.

    Love their focaccia and potato pizza! Great cocktails and a good selection of focaccia. Rudy has been our server on a few occasions and we love his attentiveness and friendliness!
