   This is overall a good restaurant with a good menu. Portions are adequate to large and the food is generally really good. On this visit I had a wedge salad that was really well presented and a great value. Center cut pork chop with mashed potatoes and mixed veg also excellent. My girlfriend had the special filet Oscar and at $42 was a great deal. Downsides are that the white wines are always served like warm and a bottle of Pellegrino is priced at $13 when even my the best restaurants it’s about $7. I’ve brought both complaints several times as I eat here regularly to no avail. Doesn’t stop me from going there lol. My server Tina always makes it worth the trip. Ask for her great and personable server.

   Our waitresss Kaicey was pneumonial, very friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious, can’t wait to return

   The food was great but the noise level was disappointing. It was so difficult to have a conversation with the individuals at my own table. There was an obnoxious party celebrating a birthday but so was our party and we weren’t hollering. Disappointing that they weren’t asked to lower the energy for the neighboring diners.

   Server was great! Kale soup was good...not great. Used to be great. Got the stuffed baked potatoe skins. They were blah. Also got a bowl of chili which was good.

   Great experience at La Familia- Taunton! Our server Brittany in the bar was so outgoing and made our dinner enjoyable. She gave us the time we needed to decide on the extensive menu, and in between courses. We watched the Bruins (lose-bummer!) but the atmosphere kept us in good spirits. All the food came out hot and delicious! We really loved the Portuguese calamari and the fresh, warm sourdough with the dipping oil was amazing. Overall, great dinner. Don’t skip the fried ice cream- it completed the whole meal!! Prices are on the higher side, but it’s just a sign of the times. Worth it for a special date night or a great meal with the family.

    Food and service were excellent. They seated us at a very small table right by the rest rooms. When I asked for another table I was told they were all reserved even though several were empty.
