La Ferneteria Rooftop Miami, located on the 9th floor at 230 NW 24th Street in Wynwood, is a unique blend of elevated dining and Miami’s artistic spirit. Chef Javier González brings a modern twist to Italian comfort cuisine with signature dishes like the "Provoleta La Ferne," a smoky, Fernet-flambéed provolone. Great spot for special occasions! La ferneteria is an energetic trendy spot, perfect for some drinks, or a birthday dinner. Food was great, considering this is a rooftop bar in Wynwood. My only concern is the service, our waiter took our order, food arrived, and he disappeared for the rest of the night, and we had to wait more than 40min for our check. Overall, fair experience, make sure to make a reservation!!

Just don’t go. We sat and after 25 minutes one waiter decided to help us. He was rude and got offended when we got frustrated because they did not have the beverages available nor the plates. He decided to leave us unattended. We talked to the manager and another waiter tried to help us. To make this long story short, after 3 hours we only got our main dishes because we had already complained 4 times. A disaster. Just save your money and time and go somewhere else.

Great Service, But Rushed Out Unfairly I really wanted to love this place because our waiter was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and made our experience enjoyable. However, what happened toward the end of our meal completely ruined it for us. After enjoying our food and drinks at a reasonable pace, we were abruptly told we needed to leave because we were “taking too long.” There was no posted or mentioned time limit for tables, and the restaurant wasn’t even at full capacity. It felt incredibly rude and unnecessary, especially considering we were paying customers who weren’t lingering excessively. It’s a shame because the food and service were good, but being rushed out without cause left a bad taste in our mouths. Unfortunately, this experience makes it hard to justify coming back. A hostess came to our table, holding up an iPad with the restaurant’s system, and told us that another party was “uncomfortable” with how long we had been sitting there. This had absolutely nothing to do with us—it was clearly an internal issue, yet we were made to feel like we were doing something wrong. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak to the manager, they were even more dismissive and unprofessional, offering no real explanation or apology. It was one of the most unwelcoming and uncomfortable experiences we’ve ever had at a restaurant. If there was a time limit for tables, it should have been communicated upfront—not thrown at us in such an inappropriate manner. No customer should ever be made to feel like a problem for simply enjoying their meal. As much as we appreciated our waiter’s great service, the way management handled this situation was beyond unacceptable.

We eat out and frequent many new restaurants and i must say that La Ferneteria exceeded my expectations. Overall a wonderful experience, from the hostess through dinner. All staff was very accommodating, even the manager who attended to my slight issue with the revolving red lights. Overall a wonderful dining experience and we will definitely be returning.

Place is beautiful but the service was horrible! Had to ask 5 different people to bring us cheese for the pasta. The food was average , had much higher expectations for this place . Very limited food menu and on top of that they ran out of the dessert we wanted. The music was also so loud you could barely hear yourself. If you are looking for a romantic dinner date , this is not it!!! Also pricey for the quality you are receiving , don't recommend at all. Parking can be challenging as well.

They don’t accept outside wines…reminded us know it’s against their policy. Made an exception for our daughter’s 21st and husband 55th birthday celebrations with vintage (bottle 2004). Most restaurant charge 50 but 80 for corkage was …too extreme Still paid it and enjoyed. Dinner was delicious and served quickly and hot. Cheers to the chef
