The hostess gave us a friendly, gracious welcome. Our waitress Mahrina was so welcoming, wonderful and professional! Unfortunately, the gnocchi special with truffles was not memorable. The gnocchi was dry. The cheese soufflé, the dusted broccoli and the chocolate dessert were absolutely delicious! We love dining at LaGoulue and will be back!

We love exploring the menu, and have yet to be disappointed. The cheese soufflé was fabulous, and the escargots smelled wonderful with the garlic butter. The ile flottante with the caramel cage was both fun and really good. Brody was a tremendous part of the experience, being a very gracious and charming server. The front room is nice and airy with the doors and windows open for a pleasant cross breeze.

We recently had Christmas dinner at this restaurant, and the experience was deeply disappointing, with one of our party members falling severely ill. Upon investigation, we found that the morel mushrooms had not been cooked properly—a serious and inexcusable oversight. A restaurant of this caliber should either be proficient in preparing such a delicate ingredient or avoid serving it altogether. Improperly cooked morel mushrooms can be highly toxic, and this mistake indicates a lack of care or expertise in the kitchen. Even the beef Wellington, another hallmark dish, fell short. While it was edible due to the nature of the beef, it was not prepared to the standard one would expect. In hindsight, sticking to their regular menu might have been the better option. For a restaurant positioned as high-end, such fundamental errors are unacceptable.
