The dinner and drinks were fantastic. The bartender, Dmitry, made us feel at home. He was excellent!

This place is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. No, it's not the cheapest place to eat in Chicago, but the venue, service and food are more than worth the money. Our server Nico was incredibly attentive and very informed on the restaurant itself, but more importantly the drinks and dishes. Highly recommend

Went for Christmas Day lunch. Very nicely decorated for holidays. Greeting was very nice as well as friendly servers. Good overall was tasty, but the food was not hot, just warm. We had roast chicken, very nice flavor and moist. But just warm. Pork Diane was very good. Steal frites was also good. The shrimp cocktail and seafood salad were both excellent. I would give this restaurant another chance because the flavors were all good. Merry Christmas

They overbooked for Christmas Eve. Waited an hour to be seated after my initial reservation time. They charge people for being late but there are no repercussions for their terrible scheduling, and they kept the 22% tip even though we waited an hour to be seated.

Unfortunately this would be our last visit. We were the first customers to love and promote this restaurant when it opened but the past couple of experiences fell short. Our Christmas Eve dinner was very disappointing. This restaurant is not ready for prime time. 1. Huge congestion at check-in as people were waiting to be seated while bunch of empty tables were visible to all. The receptionist seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced. 2. After a long unpleasant wait, our food was underwhelming. French onion soup had almost no flavors, no layers whatsoever, tasted like something I cook following a recipe online. The Caesar Salad was not fresh and I never complain about salads ever. The roast chicken was not well seasoned and certainly should have been cooked longer. 3. The beef bourguignon was decent as usual. 4. The waiter was very very busy but reasonably attentive. We will continue to visit the one in midtown Manhattan but not the Chicago location - Get your act together.

Came in on Christmas Eve and, understandably, they were quite busy. However, the team didn’t sit us down until almost 1 hour AFTER our reservation time. The hostesses were very apologetic about it, but this delay didn’t set up our dining experience in an ideal way. Our server was quite apathetic and it was tough to track him down when we wanted to place an order, had a question, etc. The food was okay— wagyu burger was nothing special and the lyonnaise salad’s portion was TINY and tasted bitter, but my party enjoyed the mussels, filet frites, and NY strip frites. The sesame creme brûlée and cocktails were quite tasty. Overall, definitely would not go out of my way to return here, as there are many other French restaurants in the Chicago area with much better service, food, and value.

It’s a beautiful restaurant and fun to go to, however the food was just okay for the price. My duck came out raw and I had to send it back. My son’s $50 filet was cooked unevenly. It was supposed to be medium rare and parts of it were almost well done. The Beet salad was a misnomer. It came with just a few slices of beets and was mostly the greens and no flavor. If they’re going to charge the prices they are, they need to do much better.

Our children said it was the best steak they had ever had! The staff was very attentive. It was Christmas Eve, and the experience was wonderful. We liked the oysters a lot. I had the wagyu hamburger, and it was very good. The pomme frites were excellent too.
