   The ambiance is absolutely stunning. There are so many options for food choices. The food we had was absolutely incredible and the drinks were well made.

   we literally left the restaurant after having sat there for 30 minutes without being served anything. also waited 5 mins by the door even though we had a reservation

   SCAM. Infinite wait time. Cold dishes. 3 servers asked us if we ordered anything yet, after we literally ordered for the course at the first place. Asked us to leave while we were still in our infinite wait for our dessert. We should have 2 different flavours of dessert but got the same flavour. The lady kept telling us they are different if we try them but they end up being the same. The whole service is a mess. After we finish the main course, one server came and asked us if we want any dessert. Please, isn’t it part of the course? After the dinner, we still need to infinitely wait for the bill. I would suggest the restaurant to close for a while and reflect on theirselves. I spent 130 dollars but got really little food from the valentine menu, it is a scam between the picture they posted on open table and the real dishes, and I’m totally surprised by their poor service and attitude, I do not recommend this place, this is the worst place you could choose on Valentine’s Day and I believe on other days too

But to call us a scam and that its the worst place every day is a little hasrsh especially since if that was true you would never had made a reservation, we understand your anger and accept it.    honestly seemed to be either not enough staff or too many reservations. the kitchen was really behind on orders. different servers went to the same tables asking if they'd ordered or brought out food to the wrong tables. my partner and I got there for 6 10 thinking we were late only to wait 2 hours without receiving a single meal. thankfully, we were able to get our food to go, so we got to eat something at the end of the night. there was one server who really went above and beyond for us, I'm sorry I forgot your name! he's the reason we didn't go hungry tbh. the risotto was really good, and the drinks were good but not for the price. the surf & turf was tough & salty (probably rushed by the kitchen). the desserts were tasty but we got the same one twice. The scallop appetizer was really good, the mushroom one was good too but forgettable. I feel like if they weren't super busy, we would have had a better time. If you're thinking about this place, I'd book a reservation on a slow day for a better experience.

   Not a good choice for Vegetarians. The mushroom tacos have nothing remotely mexican in them, fried mushroom with salad on top? The staff was really trying but this place just doesn't hit the mark.

   We went to La Nayarita for the first time on my birthday this week. The food, drinks and service were all amazing! We were pleasantly surprised that they also do a big birthday celebration with cake and shots, which made the dinner even more special. We plan to go back again but with more people so we can get more food to share!

   It’s a fantastic restaurant with delicious food, welcoming staff and beautiful interior, which is at the same time not very expensive! It is the first Mexican restaurant I found in Toronto (I’m a newcomer from another country) which feels really authentic and doesn’t use any unnecessary ingredients: in other words, if you love simple hearty national cuisine and not something fancy (nothing wrong with doing that, of course), that’s a must-go place.
