   Born and raised in Miami, I never knew how delicious Ecuadorian food could be. As a seafood enthusiast, La Pata Gorda has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been coming here consistently, and the service is always top-notch. My favorite waiters, Byron and Nelson, always provide excellent service and ensure a 10/10 experience. I keep telling everyone I know to come here and try it out themselves!

   Delicious, a little piece of Ecuador in Miami, the crab has the same flavor as in Guayaquil, exquisite, excellent service and variety on the menu.

   Delicious food! The type of seafood and style of preparation are unique! Kind and attentive staff. So glad we decided to try this newer restaurant! We will definitely be back!

   18% gratuity at a restaurant in coral gables is crazy and rare. The food was very salty and the seafood I had with my order “the catch of the day” was extremely over cooked. The service was very good and the waiter was very nice. The $30 bottle of still water was something I’ve never seen in coral gables. I will not be returning.

   As an Ecuadorian and loving away, the food made me feel like home. That feeling that warms your heart and puts a smile in your face. Excellent service, the ambiance and the music were perfect! For sure I’m coming back to try other dishes. This time I had the Locro, Chopsue and ceviche, everything so tasty.

    Experiencing the Ecuadorian cuisine was part of my perfect day because I took my parents with me which loved and enjoyed the place, we had a chopsue and the traditional cazuela, we also had the ecuadorian platter, everything we had was amazing, I can’t wait to come back and tasted a different plate from their menu.
