   Nerea and Ernesto are excellent! Both explained in detail the menu and provided fantastic customer service. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It’s a great experience, ambience, background music, lighting and menu are superb!

   Great consistent authentic Ecuadorian food! this is probably the 9 or 10th time that I go to La Pata Gorda and they do not disappoint I have taken customers, overseas friends and without an undoubtedly, my guest are left with the usual, I will come back here, what a great place and flavorful food! the meal's portions are generous, flavorful and creative the waiters are great - Byron is my favorite waiter, he truly ensures one has a great time while eating at La Pata Gorda, his attention to detail, professionalism are solid Among my favorite dishes: cazuela, encebollado, ceviche de camaron (jipijapa style), chopsue and love Brujo Fish. Their desserts are amazing as well, my favorite the fig cheesecake with roses honey. Their drinks - wonderful!!!

   I absolutely love the crunchy rice and the crab is to die for. The service is excellent. They make sure that everything is perfect. I highly recommend this place.

   I really was looking forward to eating here and trying Ecuadorian food. The server was excellent and went over the menu to perfection . The appetizer platter was tasty. The food however was just ok . The chop suey which is a traditional dish was mushy lacked flavor and was not hot. I had the cáusela, I enjoyed it but my friend who also had it said it was cold. The restaurant is casual inside. The dessert was good . It was quite expensive for what we were served. Not worth it.
