   Love this place - perfect bistro fare. The house red wine is better than many "select" wines I've had at other restaurants. They do everything with care here though the atmo is nicely casual.

   My favorite place in dc Just like in France . Just perfect in so many ways. I love the duck a l’orange , salad composèe, crème brulèe and canelets

   We have been coming to La Piquette for many years. We often bring friends and family and they become instant fans. Have never been disappointed. Not pretentious. Just great, simple, Authentic French food created by Francis.

   Relaxed without being rushed by servers. Food excellent: not over-fancy but very good. Some French restaurants are very snotty. Friendly service good food and wine, bit noisy- more lively than noisy. Fully deserved 5 stars.

   This is one of my favorite “go-to” restaurants. The service, food and atmosphere are what keep me coming back. The bartender never misses the mark and our favorite server Jenny is a gift. I’m a regular and am made to feel like family every time I come in, which is often.

    We love the food, service, wait staff and ambiance; it’s a wonderful old-school French Bistro, with a daily menu and great cocktails. They are always busy, clearly a neighborhood fave, and it is VERY loud; difficult to hear each other at a 4-top. Nevertheless, we keep coming back!
