Food is fine but service is non existent. Fritto misto di mare was mostly vegetables. Pizza was quite good. Pastas were also pretty good especially the cacio e Pepe and Alfredo. Cocktails were very diluted tasting.

I got frito misto dimare - only have 2 shrimps and mostly zucchini of course but for $38.50 the value is very low. One of our drinks were forgotten which the waiter said it’s the bar forgot as he did submit and the pasta also very little food for the price. Won’t return

Other then the hostess, who kept us waiting to sit while the whole night there was plenty of tables, we had a lovely meal.

The food was not good. My pasta Alfredo was so salty. The Caesar salad looked like the cook took off the leaves and added Caesar sauce, shades of Olive Garden. The pizza menu looked extensive. My aperiol spritz was very good. The tiramisu was good even if they tried to make a very traditional and iconic cake an event with the creme topping going everywhere when the plastic was removed. The ambiance was new and attractive even with Christmas lights on all the windows. why? Also a very loud band which made conversation difficult. I was far away. Service was not ok because we were always looking for the server who was never around and it felt like it might have been the servers first job. The menu was disappointing. The repetition was obvious with cacia and Pepe risotto, then pasta and even focaccia bread. Really….the focaccia tasted and had the texture of American white bread even though it looked convincing. Try the piazza. Good luck!

Really poor service and food took forever to come out. Pasta was completely cold and clumped together so we showed the server and he asked with an attitude if we just want it taken off the bill or a new one that will take VERY long to make. We dine out a lot and it was one of the worst experiences in NYC.

Our food was service was average, kept on checking in on us but not asked for beverages. The food was served luke warm and the carbonara was so salty. Had to prompt for dessert menu with matching wine unavailable. Not the best experience.

First visit and not last. Leery as we tend toward local, but was highly recommended…and did not disappoint. Caponata is not to be missed: beyond sublime. Gorgeous presentation and the sourdough toast was a perfect complement. Salmon was perfectly seasoned and moist. Ravioli di Piselle e Stracciatella was such a fun springtime treat. What was lovely about both dishes was they were not over cooked. Flavors were bright and quite enjoyable with a glass of white (the Sicilian Aetna Bianco was perfect). The lemon dessert was a light lemony treat to close the feast. Our server was knowledgeable and unobtrusive (excellent service). There was a private event in adjoining room, so the restaurant was loud, but it was enjoyable seeing people be lively and interacting. Surprised that our evening dining at Eataly was such a treat: thank you!

Disappointing Experience at Eataly on Mother's Day! I'm a fan of Eataly's pasta and food market, but our recent visit on Mother's Day was a letdown. The food was cold, and the service was slow and disorganized. Two of our party received their orders so late that they ate while paying for their meals! ( one of them my Grandmother) The waiter, Jose, was friendly and apologetic, but there were issues with the bill. He mentioned certain items were "samples" that would be taken off the bill, but they remained on the final bill. We also experienced mistakes with our orders, and drinks took a long time to arrive. The only highlight was the appetizer of fried seafood, which was delicious. Despite Jose's niceness, the overall experience was marred by poor communication between the waiter and kitchen staff. TO TOP IT OFF the candies I brought at the market were EXPIRED FOR A WHOLE YEAR ALREADY literally money going to the garbage the one thing I thought would save my experience nope stomach pains for the next couple days . Given the Mother's Day crowd, I had hoped for a smoother experience, especially since I've had a better time at another location of the same chain. Unfortunately, this visit left a sour taste, and I wouldn't recommend it without some improvements. Rating: 2/5 stars Suggestions for Improvement: • Improve communication between waitstaff and kitchen • Ensure food is served hot and in a timely manner • Double-check orders and bills for accuracy I hope Eataly takes these issues seriously and makes necessary changes to provide a better experience for their customers.

We appreciate your kind words about Jose’s service and the seafood appetizer, but we understand that these positives did not make up for the broader issues you encountered. Please know that we are actively addressing the areas you highlighted, and your suggestions for improvement are valuable to us. We would welcome the opportunity to make this right and provide a better experience in the future. If you're open to it, we’d appreciate the chance to connect directly. We will send you a message.
