   Everything from our food to our server was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any of our family or friends. My husband and I went with another couple. We all ordered different dishes and everyone loved their food. The only thing that was a little off for me was the noise level. It was very loud and at times it was hard to hear what people were saying at our table. I soon realized that it's that way because the food is so outstanding and this place is very popular. The restaurant was packed. If you're in Georgetown I totally recommend giving this place a try!

   I am writing to provide feedback on my recent dining experience at La Riv - Georgetown on Sunday, March 30, 2025. While the atmosphere was appealing, the service was unfortunately lacking. Firstly, there was a significant delay in receiving our cocktails after ordering. Secondly, after finishing our appetizers, the empty plates remained on the table for an extended period. When our main courses arrived, there was no space, and the staff seemed to expect me to clear the table myself. I requested that the empty plates be removed before the main dishes were served, and the staff appeared to be offended. Finally, there was no attempt to address or mitigate these issues before I left the restaurant. I plan to contact the manager directly to further discuss this feedback, as I hope it will be taken constructively to improve the experience for future customers.

   Outstanding food and service. We brought my niece and her husband newlyweds one day and they had such a wonderful time and excellent meal.

   Unique sauces dressing salmon and veal shank excelled! Rose vodka with lime cocktail was delightful. Our server Kinsey was friendly and very helpful with meal options. Cost of Meal a bit pricey for normal night out but worth it for occasional celebrations lke birthdays!!

   We had a remarkablly friendly server, Heidi, who made our dining experience very special . Great food, octopus and beef bruschetta always a winner, and all our pasta meals were perfect! Wonderful wine, cocktails and digestives !

    We had a fantastic dinner at La Riv! From the start, our waitress was incredibly friendly and helped us navigate the menu, especially since my wife has a dairy allergy. The bartender was just as helpful, patiently answering all my cocktail questions. We kicked things off with an Amaro Negroni and a Sidecar—both excellent. For appetizers, we went with the mussels, and for the main course, the whole branzino, which was perfectly prepared. We also enjoyed a couple of great glasses of white wine. The wine list had an impressive selection, with great choices from both Italy and the U.S. The restaurant has a relaxed open-kitchen concept, which adds to the warm and inviting atmosphere, while still maintaining a touch of upscale elegance. You can watch the chefs in action, which makes the dining experience even more engaging. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back to try the fresh-made pasta.
