La Terrazza di Roma is a traditional Italian restaurant located in Marina Vallarta, in the lovely city of Puerto Vallarta. The restaurant was founded in 1993 by a group of Italian and Mexican friends aiming to bring the flavors of Italy to Marina Vallarta. It is a family-owned and operated restaurant, with hearty trattoria style dishes, served in a lively, and entertaining space. “La Terrazza” is well known for its outstanding deck over the water, offering outside dining every day.
In our menu you will find classic Italian dishes, as well as signature plates, paired perfectly with a carefully selected wine list. The menu features a wide variety of delicious homemade pastas, fish and seafood dishes, as well as gourmet thin-crusted pizzas.

    It is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful food, a great view over the marina, attentive service and lovely dinner music. We had four different items and an appetizer and everything was perfect.

    Food was very good, waiter Martine was pushy, wanted us to order before we even looked at the menu. Requested a table in the front room facing the outdoors and they put us inside the closed in room and it was uncomfortably hot.

    My husband and I both immediately got sick from our dinner after walking back to our hotel. The service was great from the host to the server but something was up with something we ate. We had a Caesar salad, beet carpaccio, lasagna and beef + shrimp entree.

    Beautiful patio/deck on the water at the marina. Food was ok at best. I thought everything we ate lacked flavor and perhaps because we were in Mexico and had food all week with a ton of flavor, trying an Italian restaurant might have not been the best idea. The staff were great and drinks/wine selection were also very good. The menu was varied but out of the 4 in our group, only one loved their meal. Worth checking out for the view. Maybe go for drinks and appetizers. There are many Mexican restaurants nearby with better options and flavors but if you’re looking for a different cuisine, check it out!

    Make sure you book early or you won’t get in. A very popular restaurant. We had an amazing evening. Food was great and Margaritas were fabulous. Would highly recommend.
