   I specifically asked for a table out of the way, in the corner. I do appreciate that it was Valentine’s Day and very busy. However we were sat between two other tables that were within elbow reach and every word of their conversations were heard and it was adjacent to a roaring log fire. I absolutely hate being that close to others when trying to enjoy a meal. It spoilt the occasion unfortunately. Why ask if you’ve any special requirements when booking if you’re not going to pay any attention to them, shows you don’t read or care about the customers need!

   Lovely little restaurant, I would visit again when next in keele. Food was amazing, the restaurant has a stylish decor. Didn’t feel rushed, service was polite and efficient.

   We enjoyed our meal very much and the service was good, it was very quiet being a Monday but that didn't bother us at all, very enjoyable experience

   Large menu with great choice of food. Greeted at the door and shown to table straightaway. The restaurant was quiet on our arrival but other diners soon arrived. The mains were excellent, we had lamb shank, chicken with mozzarella and ham and the cannelloni, couldn’t fault it, piping hot and all served at the same time. Service was very good too. The desserts were large portions, my only criticism of the food would be the tiramisu wasn’t to my taste, I like a much stronger flavour but that’s just a personal choice. The restaurant wasn’t warm though, I kept my coat over my shoulders for most of the time we were there. Would definitely go back though!
