   Waited 45 minutes for food to come. Warm plate put on table after 5 minutes stone cold when food came. Food was warm at best and very bland

   Plus staff are lovely , polite, helpful and attentive. Prawns and green salad was lovely, complimentary drink for my partners birthday was nice touch But bit negative . Menus are scruffy and plastic covered and writing very small . Tapas choice was limited and bit boring and when arrived small servings and garlic mushrooms lukewarm . Chocolate mousse was nice . Basic rose wine was £30 and pretty awful . Still water was £5 ask for tap water . 10% service added automatically. Been before and food was a lot better . Toilet door lock broken and no toilet paper but when I told staff they were sorting it out straight away .

   I have been going to La vina for approximately 20 years and have always had a great time, the last 2 times the food portions are atrocious and the quality is poor. I’ve had a La vina card for the discount for years and left it on the table on Saturday as I won’t be going back !!!

   Great food and service really enjoyed the evening. A little pricy but it is in a great spot on Deansgate so probably typical for the area.

    Our waitress was very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Great touch at the end of our meal, when she brought my wife and I a glass of Prosecco each for our anniversary. Will recommend La Vina as a great restaurant. Regards Steve Darlow
