   There are so many restaurants in Sarasota. So many of them good, most not great. Violetta is great. Vitello Tonnato, fois gras, spaghetti with shrimp and uni, ravioli stuffed with osso buco, and many traditional but not boring Italian cuisine, all executed perfectly. Well curated wine list and attentive, professional service makes for a perfect evening. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant for any occasion.

   This was the best Italian food I have eaten since I have been in Sarasota, Florida for the past four years. The service was outstanding and we loved the ambience.

   Spectacular Northern Italian food. The richness of the meal made us feel like we were back in Parma. The ambience is relaxing and overall, dining here is a very enjoyable experience .

   Food was wonderful. Value for the prices is not out of control but definitely on the pricey side. Good wine list. It was my birthday dinner so no small dessert…only if you want to buy one. That was surprisingly stingy on their part.
