   From the appetizers through the dessert the food was excellent. Tripe and Octopus for starters were delicious. The osso buco and steaks were perfectly prepared and presented. Cannot wait to return.

   Absolutely amazing food once again! They have so many fabulous dishes that it’s difficult to choose. Wonderful staff working together to make our dining the ultimate. Oh and ossabuco was mind blowing good! A must try if you’ve never been there.

   Best authentic Italian restaurant in Sarasota. Some unusual dish such as pasta with sea urchin and wild boar. Pasta made in house. Decent wine list with lots of Italian wine

   Comfortable, busy restaurant with very good food at high, but fair prices. I felt rushed; I felt our seven pm reservation anticipated another at 8:30. Our appetizers were served within a few minutes, not long after starting our drinks. We were finished with our entrees fifty minutes after being seated. I think I would have enjoyed a his restaurant as part of a larger group than just the two of us.

   The service was great. Had reservations and seated immediately. Great waiter and menu and specials options sounded outstanding. I come from the food service industry tand owned a catering business in North New Jersey and have high expectations when going to fine dining/ white table cloth establishments. II Violetta, checked all the boxes. The Octopus Appetizer, was probably the best i ever had. The Pasta and Risotto dishes were extremely well presented and very delicious. Desert was equally delicious. It was a my daughter's 21 birthday and we couldn't have been more please. The chef sent out a dish that was unexpected. i don't recall the name. A thin sliced warm mortadella, with pesto and fresh parmesan on a delicious bread. we couldn't eat it fast enough. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to all you enjoy fine Italian food and can't wait to go back and order the specials. Each one sounded better than the next.

   This hidden gem in Sarasota is a wonderful restaurant. There is a wide selection of choices and the homemade pasta dishes are amazing. Our wait staff was attentive but not hovering. We had a wonderful dinner with family and will be returning again soon.

   As always, an extraordinary dining experience. The incredible variety of food offerings and the amazing flavor of each places La Violetta at the pinnacle of dining in Sarasota and comparable to many if not all of the high end restaurants I have frequented globally.
