Left before we made it to entrees. Wasn't the experience we were looking for.

We had a very nice dinner on Xmas day. Our server was excellent and the food quite tasty. The Swordfish was a favorite.

Well it’s the first time Sue and I have visited La Zozzona. We had the pleasure of Jacob as our server. It’s been a while since we have enjoyed an experience such as this. We had 5 in our party and every thing we ordered was simply amazing. The service was above and beyond by everyone involved. Food was simply amazing, service is simply amazing, the desert, simply amazing, the entire experience, simply amazing!!!! Don’t take my word for it get down there and experience it for yourself. Ask for Jake he is the best.

We have been to a few of Chef Blais' restaurants in the past and were excited to try this new concept in AZ. While the staff was all very nice and we had no issues getting a reservation/seated quickly, the rest of the experience was nothing spectacular. For the price point, my expectation was an elevated dining experience, but it felt very hotel restaurant. The portions were small - $24 for the bucatini, a peasant dish, should have been more than a few twirls of pasta. The Caesar salad was drowning in dressing, the toast with our burrata was burnt, and the tiny spoonful of tableside tiramisu while tasty, was barely a serving. The rigatoni was the best item we had but even that, it was good, not great. Our bill was $250 with tip and we both left saying, not worth it.

The food was really underwhelming. Small portions and odd taste to little taste. Service was sloppy and overly casual for the environment.

Best food, but dirty flatware multiple times made things quite off.

Amazing dinner at La Zozzona. We dined in the private dining room that overlooks the kitchen so you can watch the wonderful food being prepared. Fabulous dinner and wonderful wine list. We will defiantly be back! Thanks so much for wonderful hospitality.

We had high expectations for our first experience at La Zozzona, based on what we heard from early reviews, the previous success of Chef Blais, and the photos from their website and social media. Our dinner far exceeded those expectations and we cannot wait to return. To start, the bar & lounge which first greets you is stunning, with the right combination of luxury, proper lighting, and design. Our two variations on a Negroni, the Blood Orange Negori and Oaxacan Negroni, were perfect and served by the most welcoming and professional mixologists - Josh and Kaitlin. Once seated, our server Jake proceeded to explain the menu to us, noting a few key highlights, including the burrata, squash blossoms, rigatoni, and swordfish. We ordered all four. The burrata and squash blossoms were among the best either of us have ever had. Same goes for the rigatoni. Now, whatever you think you know about swordfish, disregard. I don’t think I had ordered swordfish in maybe twenty years and I am glad we did this evening. It was almost steak-like in its seated outside, tender inside texture. And the flavor was like nothing I have ever experienced with fish. The sommelier Ben even helped us choose the best wines by the glass to pair with our meal and he nailed it. I highly recommend La Zozzona next time you’re in the mood for fine dining Italian.

It could benefit from table linens for a more elegant atmosphere, but they invested in beautiful marble tables so I get why they choose to showcase them. All surfaces in the interior are hard except for the booths, so the noise level on a moderately busy evening was very loud. Only complaint about the service was our entrees were served before we finished our salads, so the table was full of plates - it's a sensitive balance to pay close attention to course timing when dining at a restaurant of this caliber. Everything else was a pleasure.

Thank you for your review Timothy! I agree with you. Timing of courses is essential to great service and I'm sorry to hear we fell short in that regard. I do hope you choose to dine with us again so we can show you the correct pacing of service. Happy Holidays, Zach McGrath General Manager

Disappointing to say the least.. had high expectations but just overall underwhelmed. We were seated at the worst table in the restaurant, all the way in the back next to the emergency double door and some long hallway. The table had no business even being apart of the floor plan. Service staff was fine, nothing special. Pasta was cooked well. We didn’t stay for dessert

Thanks for the review, Austin. We're sorry to hear that your experience at La Zozzona didn't meet your expectations. We take your feedback about the seating arrangements and the service very seriously. We strive to provide an enjoyable atmosphere for all our guests and it seems we fell short during your visit. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the pasta dish you ordered, but we're sorry that other aspects of your visit didn't meet your expectations. We hope you'll give us another chance to impress you in the future. Happy Holidays, Zach McGrath General Manager
