   Labriola has very consistent, tasty options that are unusually better than other Italian restaurants. What has changed most recently are the portions. The eggplant Parmesan, for instance, remains $20.00 for the lunch portion, that is now seriously, a lunch portion. Four small circles of eggplant with a small serving of spaghetti on a lunch size plate. Only a few months ago, the serving was more than double the size for the same price. Surprising is an understatement.

   The ambiance of an Italian village immediately made us feel welcome. Food was good although the fish needed seasoning but well cooked. It was very busy so service was longer but in this case we didn’t mind

   Everything was good until I got the bill and had a $3 “service” fee that was indicated as not a gratuity. I hate these new fees in restaurants. If you need to increase your menu prices fine because at least then I know what I’m going to pay but adding these generic fees just for eating in your restaurant is ridiculous. I know it’s a small fee but it’s just annoying and left a bad taste in my mouth after what was an otherwise nice evening.

   We ordered 2 margarita pizzas. When both came out they looked like 2 different restaurants in 2 completely different countries prepared them. They didn’t resemble each at all. Nobody could believe it. Ordered a Ritchie Burger MR it was RARE/RAW. Refired and came back well done and flavorless. No S&P on table to try and add flavor. Sent back the raw uncooked fries (2 orders) came back a little less raw & uncooked. Again zero seasoning. Pro tip: bring little S&P packets when you visit. Favorite part of the meal is when the manager asked how our meal was, no one answered, so I said “it was fine” and she said “great I’m glad”. This was a birthday dinner. I suggest you celebrate somewhere else. New location leaves a lot to be desired. Lots of staff. Zero attention to guests. Everyone just walks around very fast without doing anything.

   Discovered this great Italian restaurant a few months back. Look forward to great meals and service plus generous wine pours each time we come into town for a visit. All the staff is customer-centric. All around 5 star experience every time.
