Tend to feel rushed out when you have a late reservation. Waiters seem to still be training but the service doesn’t seem to match the cost

The service was great! It was a busy time of the year. The food selections were numerous and generous proportions. The teapots should be kept in warmers on the table and the option to have 2 tea selections. My biggest complaint is that for a party of 3, gratuities were automatically charged at 18%. This is presumptuous of an establishment. I feel like that should be my choice of how much to tip. This also not advertised in the costs when booking the activity . When I waited tables automatic gratuity was only charged on parties of 6 or more or special events. Overall it was a nice experience for the three of us.

The venue is what you would expect for a cute tea room and the food was good. The staff made the rounds to refill tea pots, which made us feel like we weren’t being rushed. Unfortunately, there was a little kid party the last half of our visit. The venue is small so when 8 kids ranging from 4-7 came with parents who did little to control the volume, the ambiance was ruined. I would go again, but only if it doesn’t coincide with a party.

My family and I enjoyed the special holiday tea. The pastry and sandwich selections were plentiful and tasty. The scones were fresh and a pure delight. We will be back.

A beautiful setting was the site of a disappointing experience. The full tea was priced very high for very average finger sandwiches and pastries. The wait staff didn’t seem to have experience or wisdom about serving tea having no idea whether my pot needed to steep it was ready to drink. The condiments included very small portions of cream, curd and jam, none of them at all special. Very underwhelming.

Wonderful full and high tea holiday service! Before the move to Old Town Alexandra, I went to tea at the Georgetown location numerous times. The service is exemplary, the staff professional and uber friendly! The English pies are not to be missed they are SO excellent. The pastry chef is top notch and the scones and pastries are scrumptious. The afternoon tea at Lady Camillia’s is not to be missed!

Food: gorgeous desserts; tasty scones (wish were warmer); sandwiches tasted good, but were not anything special in appearance. Ambiance: crowded and small, but they kindly set up a little extra table for us; typical in this area for restaurants to be small and crowded. Awesome decor and Christmas decorations. Very very lit with natural light. Service: Wonderful! Kind, thoughtful, patient servers. We did not feel rushed; tea time is about taking time for leisurely conversation and savoring of the fare. That was accomplished. We felt relaxed.
