Playfully yet eloquently named, Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen and Cocktails got its inspiration from the idea to ‘hangout and throw some shade in conversation’ while paying homage to the history of its building, previously The Lamp Shade Fair, well-known by locals for over 50 years.

The Asian-influenced tapas style menu showcases seasonal and local provisions of the Orlando community in innovative dishes that Executive Chef for Thriving Hospitality, Ryan Stewart, has meticulously developed.

The food was great. Loved the ambiance and thought the noise was going to be a bit loud initially but was pleasantly surprised we didn’t have to raise our voices to talk across the table. We had the noodles, the Ceaser salad bites, short ribs, and mussels. Every dish was actually very good, but the Ceaser salad bites were our fav top two.

Was a good experience. We will repeat and phoenix the server was great and very attentive. The food, everything we tried was delicious. No complaints about anything and we were cold because the ac was over us and they open the windows and set the ac comfortably and the same the music because when we came in was kind of loud and we were a big group kind of hard to hear but they spoiled us. Definitely I will recommend it and wants to go back soon. I’m a trustworthy reviewer because I’m so realistic and picky

We had a great night at Lamp and Shade. Our server, Alvin, was fantastic. Everything we ordered was delicious. And even though the restaurant had a partial buyout the service and pace of food was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Long wait even though we had a reservation. They were kind enough to comp us some drinks (after we asked them to do so). The vibe is cool. Very happening place with lots of good energy, and the food was excellent. It is LOUD! We sat at a four-top and I had to yell to hear the person next to me. Don't go if you want to have a good conversation.
