   Really enjoy Landry’s especially when family/friends come from out of town. Tonight, my parents and I joined the restaurant. It was a bustling Friday night, plenty of people there, food took longer than expected to come out. When it did, my father’s dishes were not as ordered. The waitress apologized and sent the dishes back. She Reordered the dishes and then we had to wait for them again. My poor father, sitting there while mother and I ate. Yes, we offered him food. Thankfully, the dishes came out correctly this time. However besides an apology, no other accommodations for wrong orders or additional wait time was provided. That I didn’t like at all. That was a missed customer service opportunity.

   Always chaos at reception, with at least one receptionist always in training mode. Chose to sit on the outdoor balcony on a sunny but cool, windy day. Had to ask the waiter to turn off the army the unneeded ceiling fans. Crab and corn chowder was tasty with a nice spiciness, though too salty. Could have used some bread to neutralize the salt but forgot to request it and didn't want the chowder to get cold. Fish entrees were generous and delicious, if a bit overpriced.

   We spent Mardi Gras day there. We requested a window seat and was given one of the best tables to see the lake. We had lunch and drinks over a couple of hours and never felt rushed. Excellent service and wonderful experience!!!!!

   The broiled seafood platter was and is always fantastic! Also the the crab and corn bisque was superb.

   Amazing staff but the food was a little undercooked which I understand a lot of tables but the staff was nice and did their best to make sure everyone had a nice time !

    We had a reservation for 10 but all parties had to be present before being seated. Our waiter was a little nervous but was overall excellent. He checked on us and followed through on all requests. Drinks took a while but food was quickly delivered. Food was excellent. We had seafood platters, Mahi Mahi stuffed with crabmeat, gumbo, crab and corn soup, blackened red fish, and our drinks were also excellent. The triple chocolate dessert is a favorite of mine. We had dinner there on Christmas Day and it was consistently excellent. The fried oysters were awesome!
