Made reservation for Christmas Eve family dinner. We have always enjoyed Eataly’s restaurants;however, things went down hill quickly. If you’re gonna be open for holidays(they are open for Christmas too) please make sure you are well stocked. First outage, my wife ordered a cocktail, “I’m sorry we don’t have the correct ingredients for your cocktail”, 2nd outage, would you like an appetizer? Yes, I’d like pane rustico (bread), I’m sorry we are out of that bread! WTH! 3rd outage, probably should’ve just left after this one, “we’d like 4 of the truffle special dishes and 3 other dishes with the “special” shaved truffles”…waitress “I’m sorry sir we are out of the winter truffles or any truffles for that matter. “ Can I still order the special oh yes sir we will just cover it in truffle oil. WTH! Joe Bastianich would not put up this! His best friend (Gordon Ramsay) says truffle oil is Sh**. If you don’t have the ingredients take it off the menu! Again. Should’ve just left at this point. We go ahead and order items that they have ingredients for…Dessert comes along, 4th outage, “I’d like an espresso and cappuccino”. I’m sorry our espresso machine is down. (Our reservation was 7:15pm I wonder if it was cleaned and then just tell customers it’s broke. ) “can we still order tiramisu? Of course!” Why you ask because it’s premade. “Ok we will take a Nutella pizza (for kids), a tiramisu and the chocolate budino.” Nutella pizza (made to order) comes out in 5 minutes. We set around another 5-10 minutes and waitress walks by “how is everything “ me,”be better if we could get the premade desserts.” “Oh I’m sorry sir”, comes back with desserts, 5th and final outage, I’m sorry sir we are out of SPOONS! We eat tiramisu and mousse with FORKS! Guess nobody had 2 minutes to wash 7 spoons Ready to blow my top I tell myself it’s Christmas and have my entire family and mother with us. I take it and just want to get home! $500+ later, party of 7.

A very mediocre pizza. Salad was fresh and plentiful but poorly dressed. Out of the wine I selected. Won’t return.

We realize with the holidays, restaurants will be busy. We always eat at Eataly a few days before Christmas. This year, it was way understaffed. It took a very long time to have our orders taken and then, it took 45 minutes to get our food. The spaghetti pomodoro tasted like they dumped the entire bottle of salt into it. Very off putting. Not the usual great food. We had reservations but still waited 30 minutes past our time to be seated. The restaurant really needs a space for those waiting because it feels like you are standing in people’s way. All that said, grace is given because sometimes we have off nights. We know this isn’t normal and will give it another chance.

The food was fabulous but the service was very sub par. We barely saw a server had to constantly wave down someone to help and they rarely tended to us. When you pay so much you expect better service at the least but at least food was great.

I have come here for many years and I went it the other day for a nice date night before Christmas. The food I had was bland and not flavor full which was the taligete alla bolognese and my boy friend had the rigatoni that was also bland. Service is usually good but when we went we barley got checked on but the table next to us always got checked on immediately, while also getting ahold of our server was hard. This placed used to be my favorite place but probably won’t be coming back.

Beautiful place , great service but the food has not be consistent. With every visit, it continues to go down hill and for the cost it’s been very disappointing.

Very overpriced for small flavorless portions, the worst part was our server (a hybrid of a sloth and a snail).
