The food was good but no more and the service was fine. The noise level was very high, and the tables are placed very close to each other. Lattanzi is one of those places that include a 20% tip on the credit card slip you have to sign while keeping a separate line for a tip, effectively inviting you to tip twice. I am well aware that certain foreigners are not accustomed to tipping, but this approach feels sleazy.

We left our credit card at the restaurant and called twice to ask if they had found it. They didn't look very hard and we cancelled the card. An hour later they called that it had been found. Very disappointing. In addition, the waiter did not thank us for coming and was a little standoffish. Will not return.

Excellent spot in the theater district for a delicious meal. If dining pre-show, the staff is attuned to getting you in and out so as not to miss your show.

Wonderful. Outstanding. Terrific. Wow. So good. Listen I’m certain there are plenty of Italian places. But I’m telling you this is beyond good. Don’t walk. Run there.

We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate a birthday with a large group of friends. The staff was friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcomed. The wine and food was amazing as well. I will definitely be returning here next time I am in the city.
