AND WE THOUGHT THERE'S NOWHERE DEAD COOL TO GO FOR CLASS TAPAS AND STREET FOOD AND STUNNING COCKTAILS AND LIVE MUSIC AND DJS AND SOME COMEDY AND EVEN SOME THEATRE. WE WANTED SOMETHING A BIT CLASSY BUT A BIT ARTY FARTY AND A LOT COOL. SO WE CAME UP WITH LAURENCES. WHO NEEDS TYNEMOUTH, OUSEBURN OR THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR TO YOUR PARENTS' THAT YA DAD BOUGHT YOU, WHEN YOU CAN HAVE ALL THIS.

Went in for the school night deal as I thought it was too good to be true. Staff were very welcoming and there was a great drinks selection. Had a giggle at the cocktail menu! Overall, food was immense. Scotch eggs are a different level and I’ll definitely be back for more of those.

Can’t really comment as they wouldn’t let us in. Table had been double booked. Absolutely starving, had to find somewhere else to eat in the pouring rain. These things happen, fair enough, so they said they’d email me offering a discount when I next booked a table. Still waiting for that, so a bit disappointed to be honest.

Gem of a find. Lovely food at reasonable prices. We were there early on Sunday and were the only customers. Will definitely be going back to see what is like with more customers. The choice on the menu is a bit limited - would like to see more side order options; they don't serve nachos.
