   Did early bird special. Food was wonderful. The glass of wine included was also very drinkable. The served bread was nice and hot. Order cocktails and they were well made. Heidi stopped by our table to make sure all was fine a few times. She really wanted to hear the feedback. Restaurant is gorgeous. This is a restaurant you want to dress up for, even though you can go casual. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Aruba.

   Dinner at 7pm. Seated immediately outdoors. That was the good part. The food was just ok. I think that I would have enjoyed it more if I could have been able to converse with my table companions. There was a disc jockey who played the music and especially the bass part so loud that the water in my glass vibrated. The meal was less than enjoyable.

   We discovered L’Avenue during our trip in September, and it made it to our must do list for this trip. The owner of L’Avenue is also part owner of Papillion, which we also love. My husband is a fan of dark beer, and this being a Belgian restaurant, he had a great assortment to choose from. No appetizers, as we were saving room for dessert! I had the Baby Sole, which was deboned by Heidi, the owner, tableside. Husband had the Bavette Steak Frites which was great. Our server was Cedric, and although he was fairly new to the restaurant, he was attentive without hovering, and took excellent care of us. We had had a lovely conversation with Heidi back in September, and as she was moving thru the dining room, told her we would also be harassing her shortly for an order of Crepe Suzette which she also prepares tableside. It is just an amazing variation of this dessert, and I highly recommend. We may even stop by after dinner tonight for another order and a drink. The restaurant is still fairly new, but so far everything from the greeters at the podium, to the servers, to the owner, to the food and drink has been great, and this is now I. Our regular rotation. L’Avenue is located just across from the Holiday Inn, in the same area as Patricia’s and the Vue Rooftop. If you are looking for a new restaurant to add to your list, this one gets 4.5-5 stars!

   Beautiful location with delicious seabass. Although, I experienced a slight sense of urgency when the server inquired about the check. Ideally, I prefer to be the one to request it. Despite the nearly empty establishment, I felt as though there was a desire for me to leave, even though I had only been there for less than 40 minutes. I would have appreciated the opportunity to enjoy my slightly overpriced 5oz glass of wine in a more leisurely manner. Somewhat disappointed by the overall experience.

   Excellent experience!! The food was fantastic and a great variety. Cocktails were great and the Belgian beer selection was fantastic. Fresh, delicious and a great variety overall. Staff was friendly and attentive!!Quick walk from the hotels …loved the entire dinner experience.
