Contemporary local restaurant for homey dishes, cocktails & wines.
We’re a locally owned and operated restaurant that has been serving French cuisine in the Kitsilano area for a number of years.
Lavidas is a contemporary comfort restaurant serving a variety of different cuisine. Our menus are driven by local ingredients and cultural influences with fresh modern styling and molecular techniques.
We continue to serve a few of our favourites along with some new dishes inspired by PNW ingredients.
We are proud to support a diverse and inclusive workplace that supports and celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community and diversity in the work force. We have two gender-neutral bathrooms and are also wheelchair accessible.

Second time dining here. Everything was fantastic. The fixed 3 course meal is so delicious and such great value - nothing shortchanged in the dishes. Our server Jordan was so friendly and accommodating, and the ambience was relaxing and inviting. Such a great little gem in the neighborhood.

Small intimate setting. Excellent taste, presentation, portion size, and value at $35 for 3 course tasting menu. Totally enjoyed the ceviche to start, seafood linguine with a ton of mussels and clams, and apple cranberry crumble a la mode to finish the meal off.

Excellent service. Our server was taking care of the entire restaurant (about half full). He was constentky attentive, informative, and charming.
