Was excited to try something new after skimming some of the reviews. The waitress either didn’t want to be there or didn’t want to wait on us and was slow as molasses. We got the calamari which was chewy but well presented. Surf and turf was ok, I thought the turf was a little off tasting but my husband said it was ok. My bone in rib-eye was beautifully cooked, but every single thing was bland. From the steak to the butter, the purée potatoes, the mushrooms, every thing was bland. The mac n cheese was chunky like cottage cheese but tasted ok, but under salted. There was no salt on the table and we could barely get a refill of water let alone a straw. We could’ve went to Texas Roadhouse for half the price, been treated better, and had a satisfying meal.

We went to Law's as nothing else was available. The server was great. The food, not so much. They served Thanksgiving dinner family style. The salad bar was greens and maybe three other choices. Nothing was labeled. When asked what the toppings were she said "I dunno." Same with the pie selection. "I dunno what the flavors are." How about some labels or other indicators which was which. The pecan pie was pure sugar and the cherry pie filling came out of a can. The turkey was good as was the ham. Canned corn? Yuck. The gravy was awful. Watery. The carving station was out of the way, there was no au jus or horseradish cream. I asked for some and they brought me a dish of pure horseradish. It's a steak house the should know what they are doing. Will never go back.

We occasionally go to Law's for a steak or some fish, but decided for a change to visit for Thanksgiving. It wasn’t apparent when we made the reservation that this was a limited offering and a (partial) buffet. I talked my husband into staying because the menu said tha there was a beef tenderloin carving station. When we went to the ‘carving station’ they said to come back in ten minutes because they didn’t have any more. When my husband went back, they had some well done beef that tasted like pot roast. We let our sever (Katlynd, I think) know that’s what they had and she kindly went and got us some medium rare beef. She was the best part of this meal. The green beans were a gray color, and the mashed potatoes were gluey and gummy. The desserts were like you would get from a grocery store. Disappointing for a serviceable neighborhood restaurant. We’ll go back, but not for a holiday meal.

We went to laws for thanksgiving dinner. For a chop house you would think the food would be great. The presentation of the meal itself, served family style, was nice. However, the food was lukewarm and served with teaspoons not serving spoons. They did have a salad bar and dessert station. The desserts looked like they had been sitting for quite some time. They also had a prime rib station but the meat wasn’t hot and had little flavor. A very, very disappointing meal.

A really weak effort at their Thanksgiving meal. They ran out of stuffing. The potatoes were instant one and done.

Law's is a good steakhouse yet still fine tuning their Specialty/Holiday meal service.

Thanksgiving midday dinner. There were 6 of us, the tables were a tight fit, making navigation difficult. I’m disabled so the flights up and down stairs to the buffet weren’t for me. Our server was gracious but overworked so things were slow. Family style main course just okay, but not having to cook was satisfying. We’ll have to try it for a regular dinner.
