    A rough ride today at Le Colonial. Fortunately, wasn’t on a tight schedule because lunch took 2 hours (and our party of two ordered off the Prix Fixe menu even). Appetizer came out very quickly and then after a long hour plus wait, the main courses came but one dish had to be sent back - the salmon was massively overcooked. Ultimately, freshly cooked salmon arrived and it was delicious. Only got an apology and “hope you’ll come back and try us again” from server. Didn’t feel very sincere and was surprised there wasn’t some token offer of desert or similar - not that we’d have accepted bc we were full but would have felt nice. I will be back because my multiple other visits have been very good but certainly hope this was an anomaly and not a downward slide. Just glad it was a social lunch and not a business visit - that would have been a mess.

    Delicious food, beautiful dining room, very nice staff. I think they are definitely the high end of a food budget, but worth it.

    Such a wonderful experience and the food was great. Portion size good too! Shared a small plate, soup, and large plate between two people.

    We loved our Valentines Day dinner. The oysters and seared tuna were the best parts of our dinner! We wish they were on the regular menu because we’d be there every night! We will definitely be back next year for Valentine’s Day!

    Absolutely wonderful new restaurant in Denver. The ambiance is perfect for an elegant date night. Drinks were on point. Food is on point with familiar Vietnamese flavors and french influences. The service was also great, with the server being knowledgeable, coat check, and check-in being on time. Friendly staff and great experience overall. The price is high, but I think it is respectable for the neighborhood.
