   Our birthday lunch today was very special with Gaby our server who was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and plenty, no room for dessert.

   Food never disappoints! The staff is always attentive and courteous, especially Daniela, who makes our visits special whenever we are waiting for our table in the bar area. She never fails to greet us and make us feel welcomed!

   Our server Hugo ws fabulous... The food was amazing as well. Cocktails were wonderful. The manager was great as well. Will definitely go back soon...We are never disappointed at the Lake Forest spot.

   Probably one of the best meals I've had in a while. Fresh and bright flavors, great service. Value only a 3 bc it's pricey, but it's a nice place so that is why, but was very, very enjoyable.

   It use to be my favorite restaurant. Very small table. Red snapper barely fit on my table. People constantly bumping into the back of my chair. Extra 3% charge to keep prices low?? Took my wife for her birthday . Charged $15.00 for her dessert. If you order take out they will add 18% plus 3% to your bill. Restaurant is always super full so I don’t think they care. Too much nickel and dime.

   We’re frequent customers of Le Colonial in Lake Forest, especially to celebrate events and special occasions. Our visit this past Saturday was a bit less than we have come to expect. While the food was terrific as always, there were a couple of key issues where it fell short of normal. First, we were seated at a table for four squeezed into a spot in the far corner, near the glassware and silverware service station in the secondary narrow room behind the main room. It lacked the ambience we have come to expect. Secondly, while the service was adequate, it felt more hurried and not as personal as normal, lacking the special feel we have come to expect. I’m sure we will return, and expecting a better experience the next time.

   Service was excellent. Surprised the restaurant allows people in T-shirts, jeans and sneakers in a Saturday night (only thing missing was the baseball hat!) food is fun. Drinks are very overpriced.

    Food was overrated and overpriced Would not go back. There are so many better Vietnamese restaurants that are less expensive. Ambiance was stody
