It was a bit strange. We were the only group there, somehow no one else came. May be new management is not up to speed yet. But the for was very good, well made and presented, no problems at all. Wine list is a bit lacking, do not expect much. But the food was totally all right, everyone loved appetizers and main course.

We were only 2 in the restaurant and the volume of the music was blasting! unnecessary. At one point, in the back, someone turned the radio on all the way up, so we were between two very high noise, terrible.

Of the many good French restaurants in DC area, this has to be one of the least pretentious. Friendly service, great food!

Cafeteria-quality food at restaurant price. Quality of Caeasar salad was similar to what you buy in an airport (to go). Ordered medium steak and it was overdone (overcooked and chewy, it seemed reheated). Mussels were not cleaned before cooking, and turned inedible. Pizza for the kids was ok. Service: the hostess was not wearing a mask, wearing earbuds while taking the order. We could also see two cooks behind the counter, both of them with masks pulled down the entire time, etc.

Great food! Everyone loved their meal, the spices and exotic flavors. An eclectic menu so lots of choices! Great service, everyone was friendly and helpful to each other, I think the ambiance can be improved by making it more intimate, but the food was delicious. Roselyn

My husband had the Duck Confit and he called it “rich and satisfying “ and I had the kidneys that were tender and served over a tasty potato gratin covered with a delicious if a bit salty brown sauce. The Île Flottante custard was thicker than usual but pleasant with a lovely sweet meringue topping.
