Our bright and breezy, renovated Burlington restaurant features an open dining space with a four-sided bar, high-top seating, and plush leather booth lounges. Two private event spaces can accommodate over 80 guests, making it ideal for gatherings.     loved the food the atmosphere and our waiter. Everything was yummy. The food was served properly and we were not rushed. The only hitch was there must’ve been somebody new in the kitchen because they brought out the wrong meal not once but twice. However, that did not even dim our experience because the food and atmosphere and weight it was just that good.

    We have been coming to this location regularly since the eighties. Tonight we went for our anniversary - the quality of the food and preparation was the worst we have ever experienced here. We ordered steamers as an appetizer and they came out smelling terrible - like smelly feet - even the waitress noticed and we had to send them back - the snell at the table lingered for a long time. I ordered the twin baked stuff lobster tails - they were not prepared well - in the past Legals has always consistently had the best baked stuff lobster anywhere on the planet - I was really looking forward to it but tonight these were not even close - the stuffing recipe appears to have been changed and it was a big letdown. Also we wanted to order scallops and the only scallops on the menu are deep fried - they are no longer offered pan seared or broiled so we ordered salmon instead and it was also not even close to being prepared at the level we expect at Legals. Feels like the new owners are messing with the menu selection, recipes and quality of the food - we are in no hurry to return any time soon.

    We made a reservation for our 45th wedding anniversary. The host said it’ll your and right? Our waitress came right away and we got it drinks right away. She then took our order at the time she gave us our drinks and we order soup and salad. She also took our entree order at that time. We got our soup and salad at the same time. We barely had our 2nd bite of salad and someone else brought us our entree. We didn’t have time to eat our salad or soup before the entree came We had our meal and our check was brought. No acknowledgment of our anniversary. We were in and out of the restaurant in 55 minutes! Felt rushed and the restaurant did not seem busy We have been going to Legals for a long time. Usually look forward to it

    We were a party of four and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The vegetables were drenched in margarine or some other cooking oil, giving them an unappetizing oily sheen and an unpleasant taste. All the dishes were poorly prepared, with the sirloin tips being overcooked, tough, and rubbery. It's possible that a new chef or an inexperienced trainee was in charge of the kitchen. Having dined here before, we were surprised by the decline in quality. Overall, we do not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

    Gorgeous food, excellent attention if you are coeliac/gluten-free to making sure food prep and delivery to table is handled specially. Wonderful attentive service, drawback only in cost...one crab cake for $20? Really ! Plated dinners are good portions and allegedly fresh, but not cheap.

    Food has been so disappointing! Portions are small! I have been to the Burlington restaurant twice and both times I was very disappointed with the food! Not like it use to be. I had the fried clams. They were small in portion and the clams were tough! Today we had the lunch special, chowder and crabmeat sandwich. The chowder was good, the sandwich not so good.The service people are the best. Both Omar and Jeff are fantastic! They were the best part of my visit! My sister and I usually meet there for lunch, but I’m afraid we’ll be going somewhere different!
