Lele Kitchen is a continuation of Lena Leskina’s beloved bakery and cafe, now expanding into upscale dining with a California farm-to-table and Eastern European twist. Chef Ulad Skoblia curates a menu that celebrates bold Slavic flavors — caviar, smoked fish, dill, and root vegetables — infused with California’s seasonal ingredients.

Nestled near the scenic Santa Cruz Mountains, our location inspires both our seasonal cuisine and wines. Advanced Sommelier Fedar Kamkou guides the wine program, highlighting Californian winemakers to pair perfectly with each dish. Our casual upscale atmosphere blends classy sophistication with a relaxed vibe, perfect for any occasion — whether it's a cozy dinner with friends or a special family night out. And yes, we’re kid-friendly, with special touches like a small children’s menu.

Whether you’re savoring oysters, clay pot-roasted rabbit, or treating yourself to our dessert at Lele Kitchen, you’ll experience the best of creative, chef-driven cuisine.

Each dish composition and presentation from the bites through the appetizers to the main course is outstanding, the pairing of the fresh ingredients are exceptional. If you want to treat your taste buds beyond the standard good experiences and you consider yourself a gourmand food lover this is the RIGHT place for you. The atmosphere and surroundings in the restaurant is pleasant. The restaurant was quiet even when was almost full. The staff is knowledgeable about their menu items and very very helpful and friendly.

I'm not quite sure where to start with this review as lelé kitchen defies the typical food review. Let me say that the recent SF Chronicle review of the restaurant doesn't do this place justice. The Blossom Hill Road location is quite unassuming to say the least, but don't be fooled by a book's cover as the saying goes. Do not pass up the oysters! They are presented in a unique and yet simplistic manner, no bed of crushed ice for these succulent beauties which are seasoned way beyond a typical tartar sauce along with horseradish. The Wagyu and halibut entrees were artistically presented along with vegetables which were perfectly prepared. The apple cake is one of those rare desserts that you will remember for its creativity and exquisite tastes. Life is short, eat dessert, and be prepared to be wowed. The service was also very attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. They understand the magic that happens in the kitchen, and they do an excellent job of completing the entire experience. lelé kitchen is destined to be a jewel in the SF Bay Area dining scene! I'm glad I found this culinary treasure in its early days as getting reservations are going to be a real challenge once the word gets out!

Lovely and unique presentations of food with equally amazing taste profiles. Visited for a special birthday but was disappointed that there was no recognition on behalf of the occasion. Why ask if it is a special occasion, if there is not going to be a small acknowledgment table side?

After being very happy customers of Lele Cake (bakery/cafe next door), we had high expectations coming to Lele Kitchen on Friday night. The ambience was great, and the service was great. However the food was nothing special: - oysters, potatoe bites, draniki, beetroot cutlets: 3/5 - crudo: 4/5 - halibut: 4/5 (on the edge of being too dry) - grenki: 5/5 Overall, not sure if we will be back. At least not until the chef/kitchen situation is fully figured out

Food: almost everything was very good. The oysters and draniki (potato pancakes) were amazing. The salad was very good, but had an unusual umami flavor. However, once the pasta dish arrived, squash ravioli with sage and chanterelles, we were very disappointed. It had a very strange flavor, almost sour. We expected some sweetness from the squash and sage but instead it tasted as if something in that dish was almost pickled. The mushrooms were definitely not chanterelles. It is very likely that this was just this one weird dish and had we ordered something else, we would have been blown away, so this place is worth another try. Wine selection: only California wines. Service: Good but slow. Ambiance and atmosphere were nice.

I brought my parents here for Thanksgiving dinner, and it was a truly lovely experience. The food was fantastic—exceptionally flavorful, creative, and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the oysters, draniki (potato pancakes), short ribs, and a dessert sampler. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and the draniki might have been my favorite, topped with fresh herbs and smoked fish. The short rib was rich and flavorful—my father absolutely loved it. The dessert sampler was both inventive and delightful. We opted for the wine pairing, which was thoughtfully curated and complemented the meal perfectly. The staff was gracious, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. I haven’t visited their sister bakery next door yet, but after this meal, I’ll definitely be stopping by soon to try some of their pastries.
