   One of my new favorite places in the neighborhood. The service, from the valet to the wait staff are the best.

   We were excited to return to Leo’s, but this time with our family of six, and were beyond underwhelmed with our second experience. It took 15 minutes for water, 30 minutes for wine to be brought to the table, and 45 minutes for bread service; it progressively got worse from there. The wrong temperature steaks were delivered, but we did not dare return them due to how long we waited for our food in the first place. We asked for simple things, like the dessert menu, that never appeared. It was as if our table did not exist, sadly. Surprisingly, the quickest thing to be delivered was the check despite wanting to order more food. I think the core issue was splitting the entire second floor amongst three waiters, so no one had accountability or consistency to ensure we received what we requested. I will note the bread service and whipped feta were delicious; and the steaks were good despite the wrong temperature.

   We had a very nice Christmas Day dinner. Very good drinks, the Devil in Disguise and the Repeat Offender. Nice oysters for our appetizer. My wife had the lobster bisque and it was perfect. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. We had the tremendous orange soufflé for dessert. A must have. Really amazing. Great night.

   Overall very nice and food was great. Just need to work out a few small kinks, yet I’m mindful we were there on Christmas Day.

   Great Christmas Eve Dinner. Only comment is that our waitress (Marriana) was a little green compared to previous servers at Leos. We will definitely be back soon.

   Things tried in mg party of 5: bread & butter service, raw oysters, shrimp cocktail, ribeye, truffle pasta, salmon, duck fat potatoes and french fries. The only standouts were the truffle pasta, oysters, and french fries. Service was spotty and what really annoyed me is that the server continually reached across me to serve instead of walking around to the other side of the table. Also food runners had no idea who ordered what. I expected a higher level of service from a restaurant with this price point. Lots of better options to explore in the city.

   Wonderful dining experience for first trip to Leo’s from all service; Bar, host stand, and dining room. Wine list has superb value.. will look forward to next visit.

   Great first experience. The steak was perfectly cooked, love the live piano and ambience, service was great— and loved the “perfect pair“ of a bottle of champagne with a “Leo’s dozen“ oysters (which is 14). We also enjoyed the bread with house churned butter, brussels sprouts, and the carrot cake was a hit. The duck fat potatoes, octopus, and broccolini were fine, though not standouts like the other items we tried. With many great options in Houston, will definitely be visiting Leo’s again.
