We love Lexingtons. Dinner was fabulous as usual. My only critique on our last visit would be the plate presentation of the iron steak and risotto fritti. It was tasty, but a lot of food experience is presentation, and it was kind of lackluster and drab. Again, tasty, just needed a wow factor to make the presentation pop. We also had the shrimp and grits….YUM!! The watermelon cocktail were bomb too!!

Lexington serves smokehouse classics like: brisket, pork belly, ribs etc. My partner and agreed there was a great variety of meats and sides, everything we had was amazing quality. I would definitely recommend for those looking for an alternative to a meaty/steakhouse dinner date! BUT, the cocktails started at $17 and the service wasn’t great. It was hard to flag someone to order, and then we waited for 1 hour between or appetizer and main course.. Our server was kind and apologetic but, just note this if you get hangry ahah!

The service at Lexington’s is always warm and pleasant. As I am usually there with a chatty group sometimes it takes a bit to actually focus on the menu and our order… our servers are incredibly patient and always ready to make great suggestions. This my Caesar cocktail was a bit strong for my taste ( and yet I have an above average tolerance) either way our server was so nice about it and she immediately handled it with such sincerity and respect. All in all Saturday brunch was a lovely meeting point for the family … so much so we couldn’t leave. Our Westboro gem came through as always.

Been here a couple of times now, so can confirm these to be true consistiently. The Mac & cheese is fantastic. Some of the best I had. I had the jackfruit sandwich (always do) & person I was with had the pulled pork sandwich. We both agree it needs a good amount of bbq more. The meat isn’t so much coated in it as it’s kind of just enough to have been absorbed and that’s it. The sandwiches and fries could have been hot. They were just warm. The service is kind of rough. The staff is super friendly and kind, do not get me wrong. It’s just always been on the slower side. I was lucky enough the most recent time that I was just drinking gingerale and after a good while, the bartender noticed it was empty and brought a new one without me asking. But, if I was drinking a beer or cocktail, not sure when we would have been asked for refills. After we finished, it was about 15 mins before they cleared the plates. We sat across from the bar where they punch in orders, drop dirty cups, put out drink orders- so we were passed A LOT. Then it was about 25 minutes of servers passing us before the bartender popped back over to see if we needed anything. We asked for the bill and then he asked someone else to bring it to us. It wasn’t a bad experience overall and I’ll likely be back because I do enjoy the food and environment- but, the slow service everytime is hurting.

The service was good. Brisket was dry, bbq sauces tasted like vinegar, wings were just ok. Salted caramel butter fired chicken on biscuit was a great choice. Not worth the price overall

What a fun place to have a special gal pal night out ! A friendly atmosphere with an our server who was so cheerful she made an already fun night out even more enjoyable! Food was great and we had the platter for two which I highly recommend for those of you who aren’t overly hungry but love to nibble and have the chance to taste a variety of foods. Coffee and dessert just sweetened this special outing like a cherry on top of an already perfect summer sunday.

Very good service. Waiter was very nice and delivered impeccable service. The food was very delicious as usual. The only very minor downside is that it took about 30 minutes to arrive. Asides from that, this is still my favorite place to eat in Ottawa and I highly recommend it.
