   Our server, Sebastian, was outstanding in every way. We sat in the bar for the evening and he was very attentive and caring. We thought the pizza was great, but didn’t care as much for the pasta although that was recommended in the reviews. The brussel sprouts were wonderful and very unusual. Most items on the menu were very different.

   I’ve been coming to Lia’s since it opened. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced. All the servers appeared angry and surly. Our server was perfunctory at best. He was never around - never paid any attention. If this was my first visit, it would have been my last.

   First timer and was very pleased with the whole experience. Particularly the Sea Bass entree and triple choc dessert. I’ll be back!

   Wonderful service - host was able to give me a larger table to accommodate my work. Amazing salmon and tiramisu. Good cocktail. Great service.

   We were at Lia’s for our daughter’s graduation from her master’s program. We came in from Boston, and other family arrived from California and Florida. We were all very pleased with the offerings from the menu and thought the food was prepared quite well. Oh! That bread! Wow! The waitstaff were lovely, efficient and hard working. The experience overall was an excellent one and as our daughter now lives in Bethesda, we will return to Lia’s again and again. We are also big fans of Chef Geoff’s in D.C.!

   A wonderful experience. Our waiter was terrific. The sea bass with carrot purse and fennel was delicious - as was dessert. And it was nice and quiet outdoors.
