   I would highly recommend Libby’s the service was great, the food was excellent and the cookie sundae was AMAZING! It was the best meal we had in Sarasota. I had the blue crab spaghetti which was a new menu item as it was great. My daughter had the gluten free carbonara. We also had the brussel sprouts and milk bread. Both were fantastic.

   We made a reservation. We waited in line for 15 minutes to let them know we were there. Then they made us wait for our table. Then we got to our table and our out of town guest could not see us due to the glaring sun. I held a book from a shelf next to me so he could have some relief from the blinding sun. The manager told us in a few weeks they would have a shade. It took 25 minutes for us to see a server. We finally ordered our drinks and food. It was another 15 minutes before we had our drinks. Finally 45 minutes later our food came. We never saw a waiter again. No drinks offered again. We waited another 30 minutes for our check. I get it. It is season. And spring break but truly this is not acceptable. It will take a bit for me to want to return. This is one of my favorite restaurants but this is really not a good way to be treated.

We will keep working harder on getting better at what we do. Our ticket times for this night do not recall for any food going out to a table for 40 minutes but I will personally find out why it took that long for you and your guests.     Wonderful dinner, great service and delicious food. We started with the Parker Bread - amazing; and then shared the Wedge salad. I had the Thai noodles...really delicious with lots of vegetables and nice peanut sauce. My wife had the Salmon with risotto...and really enjoyed it. Overall, a great meal. We said that Libby's is our "local". Thanks Aziz for great service. Matt (manager) dropped by to make sure everything was perfect and it was. Thanks so much! See you soon!
