Absolutey first class experience at Lighthouse Kitchen & Bar. We enjoyed some fabulous cocktails at the bar, before heading to our table. The menu is extensive, without being excessive, and is great value for money. Food was simply fantastic, my wife had the catch of the day (Swordfish), and I had the prime rib, which was huge! Special mention to our server, Saleen, who was the very embodiment of the best of her profession. Friendly, welcoming, knowledgable and great fun. Really made the meal the best it could be.

Atmosphere was superior to anywhere else in Marathon. A bit noisy but to be expected in a tourist area. The menu was diverse enough but the two appetizers and dinners we ordered were mediocre at best. Catch of the day was super spicy 🌶️ and the pork dish had all the personality of roadside barbecue. (Which might have been okay if I’d been paying a food truck price) Oysters were tasteless; the shrimp cocktail was good but the sauce was basically ketchup. Add to that a gluten allergy that I inquired about beforehand and was assured wouldn’t be a problem, but really it was no more than a nod and shrug from the waitress. My food turned up with a giant piece of cornbread on the plate which tells you how much attention that got. Again, the atmosphere was the best part of the experience.

Resort Poolside Dining – A Perfect Experience! I recently had the pleasure of dining poolside at Lighthouse kitchen , and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the incredible staff made us feel like VIPs. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and genuine care for guests set the perfect tone for a relaxing meal by the pool. Service was impeccable. The staff anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, ensuring our drinks stayed full and our meals arrived promptly. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our food was very good. We had the potato chips and dips, which were reminiscent of the days when we used to eat that sort of thing at home except even better with lovely homemade chips. Then I had the scallops and risotto. It was very good. The scallops were correctly done slightly brown on the top and bottom and the risotto was a sweet corn flavor that blended very well. My husband had the burger, which was one of the best ones he’s had on this trip. We had the Keylime pie for dessert after debating because we’ve had so much Keylime pie. The pie was extraordinary little more sweet and less tart with a honey drizzle and fresh fruit. I would highly recommend this restaurant. This was the best experience we’ve had in the keys thus far.

Food was terrible. The paella was really underdone and had no saffron. Fish was ok but everything else was not good.

Food was average at best. My son ordered the Cobia and it was full of bones. My daughter ordered the chicken and it was dry. The scallops were the best thing.

This was our first visit and our last evening in the Keys. The restaurant receptionist was the first contact and she welcomed us warmly. There happened to be a wine tasting for Clor du Bois - also very pleasant and inviting staff. We moved to the bar for cocktails. Bar staff were friendly and efficient. The vibe was great. We chatted with a couple from Delaware. We had dinner across from the bar on the covered patio. Live music was very enjoyable. The food was terrific and the wait staff..Tyler...she was also wonderful. The entire evening was enjoyable. The ambiance, setting and people were all positive. It was such a pleasant evening. Thank you!
