   Fabulous lunch on Sunday, caters well for children. Couldn't recommend it highly enough, great value for money. I can't wait to try the evening menu.

   Food was very good with usual ingredients and flavours. Portion size was small but we had enough in the two courses. Room was a bit cold temperature wise. Overall recommended

   We had a really beautiful night at Lil's. The food was wonderful, delicious, beautifully presented, the beef with bearnsise was particular highlight, as was the crunchy,y tasty amuse bouche. The service was perfect, friendly, professional and made for a gorgeous, relaxed and interesting dinner Well done to Sam and his team and we'll be back soon. Fionnuala and Tim

   Food was lovely. Really nice place. Restaurant looks really well. Food was really good and perfect size portions. It did take a good while to come out but the quality was really good.

   We had a lovely experience. Service was great. We ate from the early bird menu and everything was delicious. We have been recommended the lunch menu so hoping to go back and try that soon!

   The food was fantastic as was the service. Perfect ambience created by attention to detail such as lighting, music, temperature etc. The staff were attentive and obliging. Sam the owner and head chef was a pure gentleman and made sure our Valentines evening got off to the perfect start! We can't wait to return again soon.

   We had a lovely meal at Lil's. The food was very tasty and considering it is only open a week, alot of credit is due to the owner for all his hard work. A few adjustments to the interiors and the restaurant will feel more homely. Softer lighting, candles and soft furnishings would help. The staff were very attentive and the food was served very promptly. I would say, it was one of the most tender cuts of duck I have ever had and the chocolate and whiskey dessert in particular was a highlight. The main course could have possibly been served on a warmer plate and one additional side dish would have justified the pricetag more. However all in all, a good experience and a fantastic addition to Clonakilty. Best of luck, we will definitely be back to try the lunch menu.

   Myself and my daughter had the pleasure of eating at Lil’s for the first time tonight. WOW is all we can say. The amuse bouche was Devine, every mouthful was different with each sauce. I had the rabbit starter and my daughter had the scallops, both were absolute perfection, the presentation , the taste were all perfection and the home made breads were great. I had the beef mains cooked rare and my daughter had the duck, both mains came with mash and the most Devine roast carrots we’ve ever had. Our mains were simply sensational. I had the chocolate desert and my daughter had the cheeseboard and the staff were so sweet to put a birthday candle in my desert, I was blown away, thank you so much girls for the wonderful service xxx We had the pleasure of meeting Sam himself for a minute, what a gentleman and an incredible chef and a huge asset to Clonakilty. Keep up the great work guys and we wish you every success

    Really enjoyed it. It was opening week. The menu was really well curated and executed They don’t need the table cloths - the tables are cool without them The lighting needs to be tweaked in the room to be more ambient They should keep the name off front. The discovery sensation going into it is fun I wish this place the best of luck. Really good. Hope to go back someday
