In January 2020, Little Madrid Tapas Café opened in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood, a small, cozy, and colorful space. The restaurant transported guests back to Old Madrid with its warm atmosphere, delicious flavors, and enticing aromas that emanated from the kitchen. With a global pandemic raging around the world, Little Madrid Tapas Café remained a steady presence in the neighborhood and soon emerged as one of the best Spanish restaurants in Chicago.

La experiencia fue increíble, les recomiendo por mucho la tapa de tomate fundida con queso de cabra. Desde luego la atención de Fernando, y sus recomendaciones fueron increíbles siempre estuvo atento a cualquier detalle. Esta es mi segunda experiencia en este restaurante y estoy seguro que no será la última.

Great experience!!! Food is amazing service was phenomenal everything we tried was awesome we literally tried everything on the menu! We were a larger group they were very attentive we will definitely we back 1000000000/10 highly recommend

Fernando was our server and he was fantastic! I had a special situation I needed some help with, and he did a wonderful job ensuring that things were great. He made what could have been an uncomfortable meal a special experience. I really appreciate it.

Our waiter was excellent. All the foods we ate were fabulous. He recommended the ruse as our first Tapas, and meatballs, croquettes and bacon something with prunes and the sauces were delish. These were all at Happy Hour so it was 50% off including the wines between 4-6pm. The waiter shared after our meal that there were going to be Flamingo Dancers sometime in April.

The Chorizo a la Sidra is not a dish I would recommend. The sauce (braising liquid) it comes in wasn’t a good flavor. The sausage itself is cut too thinly and ends up being very dry. I couldn’t eat it. The Patatas Bravioli are rather large and not seasoned well. The sauces have a somewhat tangy flavor that I didn’t enjoy. Croquetas de Francisco was a good dish and the best thing we ate. I will say this place is higher priced but the portions reflect it. Kind of balances out. But $15 for a vodka soda in Andersonville is nuts! I never knew this place existed until it came up on an OpenTable search. I never need to go back here again.
