As an Aussie in NY, Little Ruby’s absolutely nails the best of brunch - and Australian brunch is the best. I’d love to try everything on the menu but I settled on the breakfast bowl, which was such a fresh turn on eggs, poached with avocado, prosciutto, and whipped ricotta. Delicious. As was my wife’s green bowl, the cocktails, and the coffee. The place can get loud but who wouldn’t be excited

Super cute little Aussie cafe with delicious cocktails, a variety of fresh salads, pastas - don't miss out on the truffle aioli fries! We were seated in the larger room in the back, very fresh decor, light woods/finishes. Cozy. Servers were all on their game and happy to help. We also ate here for brunch. Loved that experience as well - excellent breakfast sandwich - loads of flavors.

I love this place and dine at all their locations a lot but unfortunately there was a piece of METAL in my brussel sprouts that went into my mouth as I was eating them. They handled it well but overall very disappointing for one of my favorite places to go.

I had a nice time here. I did feel as if it was a little chain-y. There was a manufactured feel at times. If you've been to Jack's Wife Freda, it's a similar sort of thing. That said, I thought the calamari was delicious and I enjoyed my pasta. My dining companion was somewhat less enthused with everything. The service was sweet, friendly. They brought out our entrees while we were still eating our appetizers (an amateurish major pet peeve of mine) and then it took a significant amount of time until we got the dessert, which I do not recommend. The toffee pudding tasted like eating a box of brown sugar. Cocktails were good, but on the sweeter side. Our second round (of the same drinks) was better, as if someone else had taken over behind the bar. Not a huge deal, but it points to some consistency issues. The decor is cute. The menu is limited, but appealing. I guess at the end of the day there were two of us and at least one of the two (me!) would like to return, possibly for brunch. Unsure about the trend in NYC of Australian restaurants, as they aren't noted for their cuisine. It's led to some head scratchers in the neighborhood (have you tried Isla & Co? Don't). In any case, I want to try the burgers and sandwiches and I somehow missed that they have old-fashioneds on tap or something (love it!)

All the Food literally came out in 5 minutes - apps and entrees at the same time before drinks. We were out of there in 30 minutes and felt super rushed. Other than that, it was good.

I ate here last night and last week and couldn’t be happier that we now have a Ruby’s in Williamsburg. I really love the vibe of this location, especially the back room. The food was delicious, as always at any Ruby’s. The classic cheeseburger, Brussels’ sprouts, and fries with truffle aioli are classics for me and always a hit. We also loved the crispy rice bowl and the spicy vodka pasta. It was my first time trying the calamari which was tasty, especially the dipping sauce, but the portion was a little on the smaller side. Another highlight about this location is that it has two bars that you can sit at. The cocktails were great: I loved both the That Cucumber Drink and the Yuzu Jalapeño Margarita. Can’t wait to come back (often). Thank you!
