Helmed by Executive Chef Bob Ryan, Little Sparrow is a neighborhood "continental" restaurant from Ford Fry. Inspired by Parisian bistros and Brooklyn’s favorite taverns, Little Sparrow picks up the mantle from its beloved predecessor, JCT Kitchen and Bar to serve the Westside in a new incarnation. Named in honor of superstar French chanteuse Edith Piaf (Fry’s Howell Mill Road steakhouse, Marcel, is named after Piaf’s lover, boxer Marcel Cerdan) the menu presents timeless Brasserie classics and simple, indulgent fare including an entire section dedicated to extraordinary "Frites." Dinner is framed by a top-flight cocktail program and a superbly curated wine list, as well as tableside service meant to make every guest feel pampered.

Desserts including blood orange cake, chocolate soufflé, and gateau marjolaine are the perfect way to tie a bow on 2024.     Bar experience was good. Food and service were great with a small but varied menu. Most other patrons were dressed nice for the holidays while some are poorly dressed bringing down the overall vibe. I’m mixed on whether I’d return. Based on the prices, I’m seeking a nicer vibe.

    Lovely attentive but not doting service. Small but well curated menu. About half way between a French bistro and a full on French restaurant. Traditional French food; French onion soup,duck pate, Dover sole made me happy

    Fantastic food with even more fantastic service! Wish we had captured our waitress' name because she was fabulous! We had to rush out to get to the Botanical Gardens and she packed us a cheesecake to celebrate birthdays on our way out! We'll be back!!!

    The food was good but maybe not worth the money . It would have been better but the waitress knocked over an entire glass of red wine in my lap and broke the glass . They paid for a couple drinks but did not pay for my meal , which I thought they should have since I had to sit in my wet dress for the entire meal . We won’t be returning.

    Our food was delicious: halibut, scallops and duck liver terrine to start. I'm not sure if our server had tables in all corners of the restaurant, but we repeatedly asked other servers to find our server. It seemed very chaotic as every time it was a different person who brought our cocktails, our wine, the bread and then the meal. We will be back, as the food was wonderful. Hopefully we pick a more organized night.
