The Live and Let Live inn is a prominent part of the Landscove community.
Our lovely country pub, a hidden gem if you will, follows a farm to table philosophy, being supplied as much as possible for meat and vegetables from local farms such as, Anran and Stippadon.
Along with other local suppliers around South Devon.

Instinct is the greatest tool in our kitchen as our food is primarily cooked intensely over charcoal in our Birtha oven, or low and slow in our chef's smoker.
We take the classics and make them better.

Service was friendly and welcoming, the food was incredible, both opted for surf and turf from the specials board, and they were incredible. Excellent value for money. Will definitely return.

This was a delightful place the food was amazing and to a very high standard . We were made to feel very welcome and were able to bring our dog into the restaurant.

Live and Let Live is a hidden gem on the South Hams. Lovely place, lovely food, lovely service. One of our favourite places in Devon. We just love coming here.

Our first visit and what a superb find the Live & Let Live Inn has been. The meal was outstanding, the welcome warm and friendly. I can honestly say that I have never had such tender chicken livers and the Pork chop that followed was sublime. We have talked about our lunch constantly since visiting. The rice pudding is to die for. I recommend the Inn unhesitatingly and will book a table the moment that we return the area. Thank you for an exceptional meal.

Delicious food, imaginatively served, great attention to sourcing the best ingredients. Very quiet there mid-week in November so I hope the word spreads and they get the diners they need to prosper.

This was a wonderful surprise. We have lived in the area for 12 years but never been to this pub. We have tried all the highest recommended around us but never here. We can’t recommend this highly enough. Went for Sunday lunch and the moment we walked through the door had a great friendly reception. Had a couple of glasses of Prosecco in the garden then went to eat. Starters amazing - tigers prawns grilled on charcoal and the most amazing Cullen skink we have ever tasted. We then had Sunday roast which was superb with two great bottles of wine. Then went and chilled out in the garden. Fantastic service all the way through. Simply wonderful. Loved it.

We booked at the last minute for Father’s Day and got a table for 6. We received a warm welcome and all the staff we lovely. We all had a different Sunday roast and everyone was more than impressed with the quality of the food. This place is a little gem that is well worth the visit, excellent food and friendly staff. It also has outside seating if you want to sit in the sun. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Amazingly great Sunday lunch. Felt like we’d died and gone to Roast Pork Heaven. Absolute diamond in the Devon rough. Superb cocktails too!
