   Very expensive for the quality. I was there with friends and tried their dishes too and nothing we ordered was super good. Just okay. We were seated in a plastic covered patio and it was raining so it was loud and the ground was quite wet. I can see how this might be a cute place on a sunny day. I also didn’t like that they charge you for employee health care. Sheesh-as if the prices weren’t enough! When I asked about my dish not being very good, my waitress explained that this was the traditional way of making it. I’ve never had a carbonara so thick and gloppy. She offered to bring me something else but I refused. So she said maybe someone else at home might enjoy it. She was very nice and her service was very good. I’m just salty that we paid so much for a meh meal.

   Arrived for our Saturday 5:45 table which we had changed the day before from 2 to 3. Could not make that change on open Table so I called the restaurant who updated it immediately. The restaurant was very busy already and we were seated in a covered outside area with a heater that worked well. We ordered two cocktails and wine. They customer the espresso martini to add chocolate to it - a very nice touch. I had a Paper Airplane - well presented and tasty. The Italian wines we had by the glass were both delicious - one from Tuscany and the other Veneto. We had the Burrata/Prosciutto appetizer then 3 pasta dishes. The Strozzepreti and Lasagne were excellent. We finished with two excellent desserts - a chocolate one new on the menu and a tarte. Service was very attentive. We had couple of noisy tables near us - a birthday for 8 and 4 young women celebrate something that added to the noise which otherwise would have been much more subdued. We had a great time on this visit. I would recommend to others. The inside is very nice when you can get a table but is more bustling.

   Absolutely incredible food & service! Marco was our server and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening. Can’t wait to go again - highly highly highly recommend! Everything so fresh and delectable. You will not regret going here.

   Overall outstanding. The bar area was very noisy so we asked to sit elsewhere. The parking lot tent was fine with the heater on. Vito our waiter could not have been better. He made good recommendations and was attentive. The Autumn salad was large enough to share and delicious. The Caesar salad was normal size and good. Both salads did need extra dressing and when we asked, it was brought quickly. The Stozzapreti and Gnoochi al pesto were both excellent. We were too full for dessert. We definitely will be going back.

   Locanda Poitano Keeps raising prices for the same dishes. My favorite dish has gone from 17.95 to 26.95 in past months. 2023-2024. Where does it end? When doses this restaurant start to give value to its customers? Sitting outside in the rain recently was not a GREAT experience. Water was not being controlled around the edges of the entries into the restaurant.

    Place is only okay. Inside the house is warm and cozy, but outside under the tent is not what you want. The food is average at best. Bread is boring. Menu items are very limited. What we had was satisfactory, but nothing great. Caesar salad was a few pieces of lettuce, split cost of $16. Wine list also limited and lame. Dessert choices were actually good. Service was only okay. Overall the experience was disappointing and I wouldn’t bother going here.
